Bribery of judicial officers, members of Parliament, and provincial legislature members is a serious crime in Canada. This includes corruptly accepting or offering money, valuable consideration, or employment in exchange for actions taken or omitted in their official capacity. It is considered an indictable offence and is punishable by a prison term of up to 14 years.
