Administration of Justice
Administration of justice offences is a specific type of violation of the law that occurs mostly when pre-trial conditions or sentences from a previous conviction are disobeyed. This includes failure to comply with conditions of release or sentences, disobeying a court order, fabricating evidence, perjury, probation order, resisting arrest, and unlawfully at large. These offences can also have a revictimizing effect, which is why the punishment is designed to prioritize the safety of victims, protect the community, justify the offender's detention, and deter future non-compliance.
